Lions Gate Hotel, McClellan

My stay at the hotel was simply delightful. The rooms were very nice, clean, and boasted a modern decor. They were spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean, although we experienced a minor inconvenience with water hitting our window on the second floor, sounding like an airplane taking off. The service was outstanding - the staff were really friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The included breakfast served at 8:30 was quite good. The location was perfect, with beautiful vegetation and flowers surrounding the hotel. Being close to the Aerospace Museum was a surprise bonus experience. The dining options were very adequate, offering cereals, fruit, toast, bagels, and pastries; perfect for a quick and easy start to the day. The facilities were well-maintained and offered everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, away from the freeway noise, and within a short distance to Lake Tahoe or Reno. The rooms are super cute, but the cleanliness of the grounds could use some improvement. The service was amazing and very accommodating during my stay, especially during check-in. The dining in the morning included cereals, fruits, and pastries, which was very adequate. Overall, a lovely place to stay with some minor areas for improvement.
